Cool Homemade Thomas and Percy Birthday Cake

Thanks to all the mums and others on this web page who inspired me and gave me great ideas to make my Thomas and Percy Birthday Cake for my twin sons 4th birthday party.

I made a square cake and cut it in half,

one half I used for the base and one for the back. A Swiss roll as the engine, all this covered in blue icing then looking at the photo and used red icing for decoration.

I cut out Thomas’s face from a story book and put it on the front. I used Oreo’s as the wheels, black licorice as the funnel, black jellie beans as the coal, buffers and the whistle. Kit Kat bars and Wafer biscuits where used for the tracks.

It was quite easy for me to do as long as I had a lot of time on my hand and one other person to give some minor assistance and suggestions.

I arranged it on a board covered with foil that was painted with melted cooking chocolate. It was a big hit with the twin boys and their friends.

Thanks heaps all.
