I made this Thomas The Train Birthday Cake for a lady’s son that wanted a birthday cake in the shape of Thomas the Train. The cake measures to the size of a half sheet cake.
I stacked up the cake and shaped it out to make the train shape. Thomas the Trains face is made out of fondant and shaped. I then iced the cake and then decorated it to the details of Thomas the Train.
I looked up online for a picture of Thomas the Train for the details to be as accurate as I could. I have more cakes that I have done at www.myspace.com/aprils_cakes . Feel free to take a look.
I also decorated the board to look as if there is scenery as he was driving by. This is the first ever Thomas the Train cake I have ever done. I didn’t think it came out that bad for being a first time.
