I made this Tinkerbell birthday cake last year for my daughter’s 1st birthday. Two layers of 10″ cake covered in butter cream then fondant. I struggled a bit with the house to begin with but then decided to make it out of rice kripie marshmallows which I put in a small bowl to set (butter the inside otherwise it’s impossible to get out!).
I then covered it in fondant and folded the bottoms of the fondant to make the tree roots. I cut out leaves and pasted to the top. I made little steps up the side of the cake out of fondant and let them dry a bit before pasting on then putting cocktail sticks underneath to secure them.
