Coolest Tinkerbell Cake

I used 2 different size round pans and baked a chocolate cake. Once cooled I frosted each cake in homemade buttercream frosting colored purple. I then placed the smaller cake on top the larger cake.

I made marshmallow fondant colored green and placed a 1 inch strip around the bottom of the top cake and cut out another strip and made a bow which is attached with a toothpick. I divided up the leftover buttercream and colored each in green, blue-purple, pink and yellow. Also kept a small amount of white frosting to the side.

Using the drop flower tip I made a flower trim around the bottom cake and top trim around the top cake. I then added flowers around the fondant ribbon and on the top of the cake. I used a leaf tip and added the leaves until I thought it looked finished.

Using a writing tip and white frosting I added the flower centers. I cut out a small rectangle of wax paper and placed on top of the homemade Tinkerbell cake. I added a few flowers to the edges of the wax paper and placed Tinkerbell on the paper.
