This UNC basketball birthday cake is an 11 x 15 white almond sour cream sheet cake. The frosting is almond butter cream. The images were made on sugar sheets using edible ink, my first time using my new computer.
The basketball was a ½ round ball cake. I used a tip 5 for the lines and a star tip 16 to fill. Next time I would crumb coat first to cover any gaps, and maybe use a larger star tip to cover the area in less time.
It still was a huge success at my grandson’s party.
