This Winnie the Pooh Birthday Cake Design was for my son’s 1st birthday. I bought a large rectangular spongecake and used a Winnie the Pooh wall décor I had as a template to cut out the shape of Winnie.
It was iced with buttercream icing tinted with yellow and a touch of brown for the body and red for his t-shirt. The details were made with cut strips of licorice and flat piece of licorice for the facial features. I was so pleased with how it turned out as it was my first time at decorating a birthday cake.
