This fall pumpkin cake was made for my sister’s birthday. The pumpkins are actually buntdt cakes covered in fondant with fondant flowers, acorns and leaves. The shinier leaves are isomalt leaves I made after I made the mold for them. The bottom is a single layer cake covered in dark chocolate cookie crumbs to make it look like dark mulch or dirt. She didn’t want to cut it, she wanted to save it for a centerpiece .
