My 47 yr old. mother is an avid gamer so I made her this Super Mario cake for her birthday. This is the first time I’ve (successfully haha) done a tiered cake. I used straws instead of dowel rods and it worked just fine. I inserted a candle into Bob-omb so he actually lit up! She got a kick outta that. The cakes sizes are 8, 6, and 4 inches.
