This sweet Princess Castle cake looks simple but it actually took me ages to do it. However, the result is awesome! This is a raisin walnut butter-cake. Everybody loves it!
My daughter was there to watch me do all the decorations. When I started to put the pink waffles as doors and windows, she wasn’t really keen. Her brother was laughing saying it looks more like a robot castle. Which made her sulk more.
When I piped on the green vines, she thought it looked like green snakes on the castle, she said she didn’t want the cake anymore. Finally when I put on the little flowers, piped on the doors and windows and finally the cones, then I saw the light coming out from her face.
She was finally really happy with it! Yea, worth all the time and trouble.
