To make this Brobee cake (from Yo Gabba Gabba), I made a square cake using a simple packet mix. The cake was then cut half, one half being Brobee’s body, and the off cuts used for his arms and legs.
To ice the cake i made up a buttercream icing and used coconut (with green food colouring) for Brobee’s fur.
The eyes are strawberry ‘n’ cream lollies upside down and minus the strawberry bit. Eyebrow is licorice. Red spikes on head were made by cutting triangles out of a strawberry roll-up.
The mouth and eyeballs were made using the little tubes of writing icing.

My son absolutely LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba, esp. Brobee, so for his 1st Birthday I wanna have him a Yo Gabba Gabba Party with all his presents being YGG the dancing Brobee and the Muno guitar and then some YGG Pj’s a few shirts a sweat shirt and a jump up suit, and a new pair of Nike’s of course, ( he already has the YGG shoes) and I have looked for MONTHS for a YGG cake.. I’ve looked at all the grocery stores online bakery’s, everything and I think this cake is perfect.. His party is tomorrow but I book marked this a while ago just in case and I guess I will have to make it.. Wish me luck.. Yours looks great but IDK how mine will turn out.. THANKS SO MUCH THOUGH!!
This is amazing!!!! I found it looking for a Muno cake idea (my 3 year old FAVORITE) character, but I may use this instead because I like it and I think I can ACTUALLY do it!
