Share Your Birthday Cake Picture and Preparation Tips

This site is all about sharing birthday cakes between us all (without ever having to buy a cake recipe book or pay any sort of fee - it's all free and will stay that way). I'd love to showcase your birthday cake picture, writeup and tips on our site for others to enjoy and get inspiration from!
There are a few things you should know before submitting...
*Cake Submission Guidelines*
- Each birthday cake picture must be of cakes or cupcakes that you or a family member MADE (not purchased).
- A birthday cake picture and writeup must be original and cannot be copied from another source.
- Your cakes DON'T need to be perfectly sculpted statuettes. Creativity, your write-ups, photo composition, etc. are no less important than "looks".
- Explain how you prepared the cake, where the idea came from, a few frosting or decorating tips that'll help make it easier for others to prepare it themselves, write up the recipe, or provide any other information you'd like to share. Your write-ups are REALLY important and should be at least 300 words!
*Preparing Your Images*
Preparing your cake picture for our gallery will help us get it online faster and also make your cake look its best.
Resizing your images: Your cake photo will be automatically resized once you upload it. However, we suggest that you crop and resize your images beforehand so that you ensure your cake photo looks exactly the way you want it. It's best to resize your photo to 400 pixels width. When resizing the width, make sure to keep the 'aspect ratio' of the heigth so that the image isn't distorted.
Cropping your images: To crop your image so that your cake is right in the center and as large as can be, you can use your own photo editor (such as Photoshop) or this easy-to-use online photo editor.

Sending more than one photo: If you feel your cake deserves more than one photo, the form on the next page enables you to upload up to four photos. We'll review them all and select the best.
By submitting your photos and writeups you grant Coolest-Birthday-Cakes.com permission to republish, alter and create derivatives in any and all media whatsoever.
