This Book Cake is a 13 x 9 inc cake that I carved and covered with fondant. The top page is fondant rolled really thin and I pinched the edges to make them look old. I painted the pink book mark with pink luster dust and brushed dry luster dust on the ribbon roses.
This Topsy Turvy Birthday Cake is the second fondant Topsy Turvy cake that I’ve ever made, not too hard, I really surprised myself. The cakes are three layers each with homemade buttercream under the homemade fondant. I just played around with the different tools for the decorations.
