This is a Homemade Monkey Birthday Cake for a baby shower. The mom-to-be loves monkeys so I incorporated that into the cake. The colors of the cake also matched those on the shower invite. The cake was made from buttercream frosting and fondant. The monkey was sculpted using fondant.

I used the Wilton Ball Cake for the mold of the face on this Homemade Mummy Cake. I used a chocolate frosting to cover the entire ball. I then used strips of white fondant and placed them in different areas and directions. The eyes were made using yellow and black fondant.
