My son was turning one and we were having a Baby Einstein party theme and I was having a hard time finding baby Einstein cakes I liked (I found this site afterwards).
My sister and I came across Wilton's Friendly Lion Pan and decided to change the facial features to make it the lion from Baby Einstein (I had hoped to be able to make the lion since my son was a lion for his first Halloween).
We used a butter yellow cake mix and made butter cream icing. We used a toothpick to outline the new face on the cake and followed the pans directions for what decorating tips to use. I hope this helps anyone thinking of having a Baby Einstein party.

This cake was for our sons 2nd birthday. We used two Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Cake Mixes for our baby Einstein cakes. Made (2) 9" cakes plus one cupcake and 2 mini cupcakes. For the mane the frosting was Betty Crocker coconut and pecan extra creamy.
The face was used with Betty Crocker Caramel extra creamy. The nose is a lighter brown and was mixed with the caramel and white tube frosting. (We used that for the lighter color in the ears). The cupcake tops were cute off and tooth picked into place. The design was all freehand.
