I searched every where for cake ideas for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. She wanted a Doc McStuffins birthday, so for the 1st time I created 2 cakes for her birthday without any pictures or suggestions from online.
I started with 2 9 inch round cakes for Doc and 2 8 inch round cakes for Lambie. I frosted and stacked the 2 layers of each cake. I trimmed the Doc cake to make her chin and I added 3 mini cupcakes stacked up on each side of the Lambie cake for her ears. Then I crumb coated both cakes and froze for several hours.
I frosted Lambie with white Wilton frosting and then frosted her face and ears with the pink. Her bow is made with colored fondant.
I frosted Doc with chocolate frosting, then I colored the chocolate frosting with black and decorated her hair. Her braids are made of black fondant.
My daughter was more than thrilled with her 2 special cakes.
