Cool Homemade Krabby Patty Cupcakes

These Krabby Patty Cupcakes were so easy and cute!

We just baked regular vanilla cupcakes and then cooked chocolate cake as flat as we could.

Then we cut each cupcake in half for the “buns”, and we made round circles in the chocolate cake for the “patties”.

We used yellow, red, and green frosting for the “condiments.” And we got this awesome cupcake stand on Amazon for only $10- it came with the cupcake toppers too!

So easy and so cute! The kiddos loved it!!

  1. I absolutely have to know where you found the cupcake stand – is that Amazon.com? I can’t find it anywhere on the website.

I LOVE your crabby patty idea and plan to recreate it for my son’s birthday. You’ll be pleased to know your clever idea has reached all the way to Cape Town, South Africa!!

  2. Under Amazon look for:

“Wilton Spongebob Squarepants Cakescapes Cupcakes Stand Kit”

I plan to use it also – fantastic idea, thanks so much for sharing it!

  3. I’m gonna do this for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party in about a week! Thanks so much for sharing. I have sold cakes in the past & this idea can be made even simpler by baking the cake parts early & freezing. Just pop out & unthaw over night. This will make our party day so much easier since I work nights before & after the day of the party! Really AWESOME idea!

  4. i just was in aww when i saw this i kept thinking whats something else than just a store bought cake. thank you so much for this brilliant idea.

  5. For the past 4 years I have spent no less than $150 dollars for my daughters birthday cakes. This year and because this looks fool-proof,I’m actually going to make the desserts myself.
