I started to make cakes many years ago as a hobby and have even sold some.I do not make aliving from any cakes i make i just enjoy making them for friends,the weirder the better!! I am completely self taught and use my imagination and pics for any creation.Spongebob cake was for my friends 2 boys who adore spongebob.
I used a basic victoria sponge for the base and cut it in a horse shoe shape.All character models are coloured moulded from sugarpaste.Everything i do is completely edible and i never use wires are sticks for my models.The signs are hardened sugarpaste,scored and then brushed with watered down brown colour to give that wood effect
