Thomas the Train Cake

Thomas the Train Cake

This is the train I made for a co-worker's son's 2nd birthday. For the face I used rolled fondant. I used small balls of fondant under his nose and cheeks.

The face came from another website that had a great step by step on how to do the face-Unfortunately I can't remember the URL but I just Googled Thomas the Train cake.

The lettering is from an alphabet mold I bought from Michael's. The cake turned out to be quite big. It was 2 - 11"X15" sheets and I cut the top corners off for the roof and a little of each side for shape.

Thanks so much for the URL- your cake is fantastic!
I'm going to attempt this for my sons 2nd birthday:)
I like the look of your cake, simplistic but realistic!

What would you charge...

Would it be possible to make one for me by next Saturday? I'm in Gainesville, Florida also. If so, how much would it cost?
