Coolest Backyard Party Cake

This Backyard Party Cake was the first time I tried making a cake for my sister. She loves hanging in the backyard with her friends swimming, playing volleyball, horseshoes and corn hole, having a picnic and sitting by the fire. This came to mind for her birthday cake.

I used airheads for the corn hole boards. Cut up Soft jolly ranchers for the bags. Fruit roll up for the picnic with runts as fruit. Candy rocks and a tea cup candle for the fire pit. Gum balls for the beach balls and crush graham cracker for the sand. Also used Life savers, teddy grahams and birthday candles for the volleyball posts and the post for horseshoe.

Everyone loved it and I loved making it. The only thing bad about making this cake is you have to have someone in the house to finish the candy you don’t use. I did have trouble making the green frosting darker due to not having the right amount of food coloring but I still think the idea came out good.
