My kids are mad for Peppa Pig and my son loves George. I had made my daughter a Peppa cake for her birthday and so I attempted the same George Pig Birthday Cake for my son’s second birthday.
I made a large rectangular cake (9×12 pan) and used a picture of George as a template. I froze the cake first because the sponge was quite moist which allowed me to cut a lovely sharp edge. I did the body and head separately (though I had a small tear when I put them together) and used coloured fondant to cover.
My son was delighted when he saw it. His face lit up and he beamed. Then he tore George’s foot off and ate it.
