Cool Homemade Power Rangers Birthday Cake

My twins were turning 5 and they are completely obsessed with the Power Rangers. I’m a complete amateur when it comes to cake decorating, so I looked at some of the other Power Rangers cakes on this site and did some research. I ended up using the frozen butter cream transfer method in order to make the Red Ranger and Blue Ranger mask.

Wilton has a great youtube video on how to do the transfer process. I used their recipe for the butter cream and it worked like a charm. I did purchase the tube of black as the Wilton instructions suggested. The cake was two 9×13″ cakes stacked, frosted white and then I did the edges in red and blue to go with the Ranger masks I had selected. I found the Power Rangers Samurai candle at one of the party supply stores.

The kids loved it and it tasted delicious!
