I made a Little Charley Bear cake for my beautiful nieces 1st birthday. I baked a vanilla butter cake in 2 different sized round pans (for head and body) and a chocolate cake in 4 mini loaf tins (for hands and feet) as well as  2 chocolate cupcakes for the ears.

I then shaped all of the cakes to make a bear shape. I iced the whole cake using chocolate buttercream icing and then made two different colours with the chocolate buttercream (a very pale colour for the lighter parts and a darker colour for the rest of the bear). I used a 30 tip to pipe the “fur” onto Charlie bear.

The cake tasted great and my niece loved the bear.
