Homemade Casino Cards Birthday Cake

Homemade Casino Cards Birthday Cake

This Casino Cards Birthday Cake was my very first cake, I made it for my boyfriend for his birthday. Two layers of Martha Stewart Buttercake cut in half, so 4 layers in total. Filling was 2 layers of fresh raspberry and marscapone cheese and one layer of Bailey's flavored buttercream, the cooked sugar and egg white recipe not just the eggs and butter style.

Then I covered this yummy cake with the buttercream vanilla flavored and then went to work with the homemade marshmallow fondant. I loved it and so did everyone else.

Fondant Frosting
by: Lynn

Ive never worked with fondant before. I always use the standard decorators frosting. I am very much impressed on how easy this frosting was to make and to use. Definitely going to use it more in the future!!!!

I made this Holdem Poker Table Cake with 2 11 x 18 sheet cakes, 2 10" round, and 1 13 x 9 sheet cake. They were yellow cake with a buttercreme frosting. The cards and money tops where made from edible paper.

The chips, face down cards and rail was made of MM fondant. The sides was hand painted with black food coloring applied with a chip brush. This was a very fun cake to make. My grandson loved it which made me very happy!

Homemade Black Jack Birthday Cake

Homemade Black Jack Birthday Cake

I made this Black Jack Birthday Cake for my dad for his birthday. It is a regular sheet cake. The top is all icing (not fondant).

I decorated the top of the cake like a Black Jack table and I used fondant for the lettering. I used fondant for the lettering and I bought some poker chips for the top. I used chocolate icing and black food coloring to get the black color.

Homemade Texas Hold'Em Birthday Cake

I made a round cake and covered it with green butter icing. Then I used sugar paste to make the cards and the poker chips. I used a fine paint brush and food colouring to decorate them.

This Texas Hold'Em Birthday Cake is quite simple to make but time consuming. My brother in law loved it!

Cards Cake

This is the hexagon cake pan, covered in MMF. All cards and chips on this cards cake are MMF.

I used the candy mold for the card shape and used royal icing to write the suits.

This cake was very time consuming.
