Cool Homemade Cinderella’s Castle Cake

I made this Cinderella’s Castle Cake for my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday. The Cinderella and friends were purchased at Disney World. I used Wilton’s castle kit. The roof tops are made from inexpensive gift bags in blue and gold. The gold around the door and windows is non-toxic glitter glue. After the party the glue just peeled off.

The flowers were bought online. I made a 10” and a 6” layer. The layers were iced in butter cream. The leaves are also butter cream. To make sure the layers didn’t sink into each other Wilton lollipop sticks were used in the bottom layer and a cardboard round covered in foil was used as a separator plate. I piped shells around the layers.

When I placed the towers on the cake I found that I only had room for only 8 of them. Room was needed for Cinderella and friends. The first thing out of my 23 year old son‘s (the baby daddy) mouth was “mom the cake is awesome”. The cake was a really big hit.
