This fairy cake was made for my niece’s first birthday party. Her mom(my sister in law) gave me a plate that she had picked for the party theme and I re-interpreted it into this cake. Everything is made from sugar, except the wings which are made from rice paper, and the ribbon.
This cake is a plain butter cake baked in a Dolly Varden tin. The Tinkerbell cake was iced to match my daughter’s favorite Tinkerbell snow globe, which was placed on top. She loved it and it was so easy.
