Easy Homemade Butterfly Cake with Sprinkles

I made a chocolate cake from a round tin for this butterfly cake and cut it in half to make the wings. The body is made out of a two tiny loaf tins which I purchased from House. I then covered it in a pink buttercream icing and sprinkled with fairy sprinkles which I got from a supermarket.

For the eyes I used mixed cachous balls which I also got from a supermarket. This was my first cake I had made and found it was fairly easy. Just a tip wait until the kids are in bed as they can be very distracting.
