This Elvis Cake I made for a friend’s mother who loves Elvis. She absolutely loved it. I was quite pleased with the way it turned out also.
I baked a two mix chocolate cake and crumb coated with with buttercream. I cut a strip of fondant and sugar glued it around the side of the cake.
I outlined the picture with black buttercream using a number 3 tip. I filled the outline with thinned white and black buttercream.
I filled in the background with white buttercream using tip 16 stars. I made small fondant balls and added them to the bottom of the cake.
