Coolest Littlest Pet Shop Birthday Cake

I took a box of white cake mix and prepared exactly half and I took a box of chocolate cake mix and prepared exactly half. I then took a piece of cardboard that I cut to fit the baking pan and I had my daughter hold it right in the middle of the pan.

Then I started on the Littlest Pet Shop Birthday Cake. I poured in the white cake mix on one side and the chocolate cake mix on the other side and I took the cardboard out. It wasn’t perfect, but it was fun and cool. For it to cook right you must ONLY prepare EXACTLY half of each. I eyed it when I added the mix in with the ingredients and accidentally made a little more than half each and the edges of the cake were cooked and the middle was kinda raw… it was still tons of fun.

I then took the other half of one of the mixes and prepared it in a smaller rectangular pan, for the hill. Once all the mixes were ready I placed the small rectangle on top of cake and I shaved it to make it a hill, the I placed a little of the shaved off part on top back corner for a more realistic look.

I dyed the white icing green and iced the cake. I took a tube of black icing with the small circle tip I made the circle for the paw prints and little dots for the toe prints. It was my daughter’s idea to make the paw path wrap around the back and come back up to where the words are.

I used the small flower tip to make flowers all over the cake, too. Then I let my daughter pick the Littlest Pet Shop toys she would like to place on the cake and we were done!
