Coolest Moose A Moose and Zee Cake

I made this Moose A Moose and Zee cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday. She is a HUGE Nogging fan and Moose is her favorite character.

I used a Wilton full sheet pan, printed out a few pictures to get a good idea of what the characters looked like, then used a toothpick to draw a ruff outline in the butter cream icing. Then outlined the characters in their body color. Then I filled them in with a star tip.

If you plan on filling the cake, just remember to cut carefully. I actually cut the cake in half down the middle then across. You can put the bottom back together, fill it, then put the top back together. Once it’s iced no one would know will know it was cut up. I cut mine but still had a hard time, a few pieces broke on me.

I think it turned out great, I was really proud of it.

  2. Hi Brandi,
I love your cake. The nick jr website has a template you can print out and stuff for a fabulous Moose A Moose and Zee party.
I was thinking of using the template on their website but instead of making it round, using a sheet cake like you did and using stars to make the cartoon.

Great job, my son’s first birthday is in a few weeks and this is his favorite character.
    Thanks
    Cecilia

  5. My son also loves Moose A Moose. Every time he hears him on the TV he crawls as fast as he can to get to the TV just to see moose. I would love to find a DVD on Moose and Zee.

  7. Where do you live? My brother’s daughter (my niece and goddaughter) turns 1 in September. Can we order a cake from you? If not, it’s ok. You’re so talented. She is so into Moose and Zee. Congrats on such a beautiful cake. I’ll see if a bakery can do for us. Thanks for your lovely idea. It’s hard to find him anywhere.

  8. GREAT JOB! I am so excited for my son’s 2nd birthday next month. Sadly I could not find any decorations or anything really on Moose & Zee. However I did find some plush toys on ebay, they are precious and I look forward to receiving them in the mail for his party. They also have some very cool invitations that you print yourself…one comes in the shape of a ticket.. I can’t thank you enough for the idea on this cake! I look forward to making it! Thank you soo much for sharing!

  9. My son will be 1 on January 6th and he doesn’t watch TV really yet BUT EVERY TIME he hears Moose A Moose on the tv he stops doing what he is doing and heads straight for the TV and is memorized by Moose and Zee. The minute they are done on TV he is off and playing again. I love your cake and I am going to try and duplicate it!!! You did an AWESOME job. Thanks for sharing:)
