Homemade 4×4 Cake

I googled and searched but couldn’t find any cakes that would matched my hubby’s passion………4×4 and mud!!!!!!

So I looked through this website for ideasa and headed up to my local shopping centre. I honestly had no idea as to what I would create as I needed supplies to create anything.

I raided the lollie and toy aisles and then made my way to the baking section. I belive that I could open up my own bakery now with all the things I have in my panrty.

I bought 4 basic chocolate cake mixes. I made 3 large circle cakes and 1 medium circle cake.

2 of the large circles make up the base with a lyer of icing in between.

I then proceeded to cut each of the remainding cakes (1x large, 1x meduim) in half. Take half of the large cake, trim the edge and place on top of cake with a layer of icing cementing it to the second layer. Do the same with the medium sized half, but place that on top of the half large circle.

The blue icing is vanilla icing with some blue food colouring. The beach is made up from coconut and crumbled vanilla wafers.

The green icing is also vanilla icing with green food colouring.

I also added some hundreds and thousands in matching colours.

The bolders on the cake are chocolate covered honeycomb pieces covered in chocolate ice magic(sets hard).

Finish by icing the remainder of the cake with chocolate icing and ice the edge of the cake and place chocolate finger around the edge.

Finish by placing cars on cake :)

The trees are store bought and were purchased in one big bunch, I just cut them to the size I wanted
