Its 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar Cake

My mom and I started making cakes about two years ago. We have such a great time doing this together. Unfortunately, we give most of our cakes away, but at least we are getting the experience. This bar cake is one of our coolest. It is made from two 13×9 cakes cut in half and stacked on top of each other. The bar top is made from rice crispies and covered in a marbelized fondant.

All decorations were made in advance, which include, beer bottles, cigarette and ashtray, money and bar napkins. We also used a margarita candle and some candy soda pops. The bar stools are fondant and Popsicle sticks. We printed pictures for the background and used a thick foam board to hold up the bar stools. This cake is cool because you can personalize it in so many different ways. Perfect for many adults. If nothing else, it might get you a free drink!
