Thomas The Train Cake

I made this Thomas The Train cake for my sons second birthday. I was inspired from another Thomas The Train cake on this website. It was simple to make and I loved the bright colors. It was a 10-inch cake on the bottom and an 8-inch cake on top. I used white cake mix and butter cream icing. For the colored decor icing I used the already prepared tubes and a small decorating kit. I’m still learning how to smooth icing, and other decorating techniques but overall I was very pleased with the way this cake turned out. The top was a Thomas Birthday Train that I purchased at Toys r us that could be played with after the party and a number two candle.
