Homemade Barbie Birthday Cake

Homemade Barbie Birthday Cake

I made this Barbie Birthday Cake using the Wilton wonder mold. I used 1 3/4 box cake mixes in the mold and 2 cake mixes for the base layer cake. I iced the cake with Wilton ready to use frosting tinted pink to match Barbie's bodice.

I found the Barbie at Walmart with a leotard painted on her body. This made the cake super easy because I didn't have to worry about icing her body. I mixed different elements from cakes from this website to decorate. Being my first ever barbie cake, it truly was a trial and error experiment!

It looks fabulous! It does not look like a cake-it is sooo realistic! Looks like a real barbie. Don't know how you did it-you should enter a cake contest!
