Homemade John Deere Clean Up Cake
This John Deere Clean Up Cake was baked by myself for my Grandson Caleb's first birthday. It is a sheet cake with home made buttercream icing. I could not find the slim long tootsie rolls for the tree logs so I used Kit Kats. I used Rollo candy for the tree stumps because I could not find the tootsie rolls that have sections. I guess the old style tootsie rolls are not made anymore.
I originally wanted smaller John Deere toys to make the cake but all the store had was this huge tractor so I thought up the idea of it driving up on the cake to move the lumber. My Grandson was flabbergasted to see that big tractor. We handed it to him with icing and all.
