Homemade Luau Cake with Piped Hibiscus Flowers

My friend wanted a luau themed cake. I made this Luau Cake with Piped Hibiscus Flowers in a 12" circle cake and covered it in fondant. Then I put a plastic grass skirt around it. I piped several hibiscus flowers and put them around the circumference of the cake.

I used tinted blue piping gel for the water and brown sugar for the sand. I think it turned out well and she loved it.

I used tip 104 to pipe the roses and piped them on foil in a lily cup.
