This is a 3 tier cake…1 tier is chocolate with Bailey’s Irish Cream soak and chocolate butter cream icing, 2 tier is butter rum flavored cake with butter cream icing. 3 tier is chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. These cakes were covered in a soft pink marshmallow fondant around the borders of the cake was pink butter cream icing. The topper of the cake…the angel wings were made off gum paste, which I dried for several days and painted gold. And the baby was made from a chocolate fondant and details were painted on the baby. The 2nd layer…cherub was also made of gum paste and painted gold. I quilted the cake and added pink dragees. The 3rd tier scroll was made of fondant. On the 1st and last tier I alternated cut rectangles of pink and white fondant. This cake was very tasty and appreciated by the proud parents.
