I made this cake for a lady at work that loved the beach.  I baked 4 round cakes, stacked and iced them.  I baked a small square cake and when it cooled I cut it into strips to place on top of the shell to look like the ridges a shell naturally has. I always make my own mashmallow fondant so to achieve the color I took peach and pink food gel dye and didn’t kneed it as nuch to achieve the marble effect. The cake is laying on brown sugar.  All the shells, sand dollars and flowers are made from gum paste.
