I used a pumpkin cake recipe and used a Bundt pan for the big pumpkin and a custard cup (oven safe) for the little pumpkin. After baking I flipped them both upside down and frosted with cream cheese frosting then used some red and yellow frosting spray colors to make them orange. Threw on some green and a little black for the #1 and voila!
My daughter enjoyed her first birthday cake and the guests enjoyed the big one. It was fun to make, I didn’t want to make a typical boring cake or use a cartoon one either so since her birthday is close to Halloween we did a costume party theme.

This cake was actually easy to make! It is two bundt cakes on top of each other. The bottom one is upside down. I made homemade buttercream icing or you can use canned icing. It turns out the same.
Put icing in between layers and all over top and sides. The stem is an ice cream cone with chocolate icing on it. This pumpkin cake recipe was a lot of fun to make because people think it is a real pumpkin!
