Tinkerbell Cake

I made this cake for my Nieces 2nd birthday. I used box cake mix the bottom layer is a 10in round and the top is a 6in round . I used buttercream icing and colored the cake with green gel color from Wilton I also used Violet,Deep Pink, Lemon Yellow,Leaf Green, all from Wilton also. I decided to do a waterfall With Tinkerbell flying over it so after I iced the whole cake I carved out the outline of the water fall with a plastic knife. I then prepared Piping gel with baby blue gel color and added edible glitter in pearl to give the water a shimmer effect. I used a butter knife to apply the piping gel to the cake in left to right motions so it looked like water I then took the back of a spoon and dipped it in white buttercream and dapped it in the areas that I wanted it to look like caps in the waterfall. I bought candy rocks from my local cake supply and cut the in half and places them is various places going down the waterfall. I make purple orchids the night before with gumpaste and placed then aound the cake.
