Homemade BBQ Cake
This BBQ cake was for my dad's birthday. We got the idea off of this website and kind of combined a couple of ideas together! My husband made the stand from PVC pipe and plywood and he had the grate from an old grill!
I used a spring form pan and used two cake mixes, For the frosting I used food coloring with white frosting for the black and silver and the top of the cake is chocolate frosting. The hotdogs are red starburst I melted in the microwave. The hamburgers are softened tootsie rolls and an orange starburst for the cheese!
The kabobs are tootsie rolls and starburst that we just softened in the microwave and I had the shishka bob skewers that we just cut in half to fit the cake! My dad loved it!
