Homemade Budweiser Cake

This Budweiser Cake was made for my dad and is Poker Playing Friends. I used a 1/2 sheet, cut it in half and stacked it so the cake measured 12"x 9". It was frosted and filled with buttercream icing. I made the "wood" out of fondant and this was made days in advance. I then airbrushed it and also hand painted with dark brown food coloring to make it look like the "wood grain".

I used sugar to make the bottles and ice and I used Icing sheets and edible ink to make the labels on the bottles. The bottle caps were made of fondant and were painted with silver luster dust. The peanuts were made of fondant too.
This was such a fun cake to make!

Bud Light Cake

I used a bottle mold and sugar to make the bottles. Just heat up the sugar (ADD 1/8 TSP OF CREAM OF TARTAR) to the hard crack stage 320 degrees f. To get the fence to stay up, I just frosted the cake with buttercream first and pushed the hardened fondant pieces against it.
Thanks for asking
