I made one Betty Crocker vanilla box cake and poured batter into two 8” round pans. One pan is for the head and the other pan you cut in half and that half in half.
One half part is used for the arms and feet. I used cookie cutters for the feet. Then frost the colors you would like and add pins and facial parts with frosting. Hope my baby shower cake photo will be of help to others that check out this site.

I made this cake for a friend of mine who was pregnant. I used the large 3-D bear cake. Once baked I cut off the muzzle and ears. I believe I got this idea from another baby shower cake photo on this website. Then I decorated the diaper with white star tips, the shirt in blue star tip and the face with copper skin color star tip. He came out cute.
I made this cake for a baby shower for a little girl that was already born. The head and body are both white 9’round cakes. As you can see, everything was made and decorated in fondant. The diaper and hair bow are colored with pink neon food coloring. The body and face is peach and the hair and eyes are black.

This was for my sister’s baby shower. I made a three tier cake, iced it with whipped frosting and sprayed it blue. For the blanket, pillow, moons and stars I used pastel fondant. For the baby I used white fondant and tinted it with icing color. I finished it with a tiny plastic bottle and bear. As you can see from the baby shower cake photo it was a lot of work but she loved it!
