I made this Agent P birthday cake for my son’s 7th birthday party!! He LOVES the Disney show Phineas and Ferb and really wanted a Perry or Agent P birthday cake. The cakes themselves were made in two deep 8 inch pans, and there is butter cream frosting in between them. The top part of the hat is a cake that was baked in a small dome-shaped bowl, and the brim is made from chocolate candy melts, melted onto a spring form cheesecake pan on top of a round piece of parchment paper, spread out evenly, and hardened in the freezer.
When I opened the pan, I was grateful the chocolate didn’t break! I attached it to the top with some icing, and did the same with the top part of the hat. I have a Perry t-shirt and used it as a guide to decorate the face. I decorated the eyes, beak and tail first, then filled in all the rest of the body with an aqua-colored butter cream icing using the star tip. I wrote my son’s name and age on the top of the hat!
Everybody loved the cake and many of the kids wanted me to make them one for their next birthday!
