This Belle cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday party. I used a 10 inch round base, (2) 6 inch rounds and a cake made in a Pyrex bowl(on top) for the skirt. The cakes were strawberry and red velvet boxed cakes.

I put a whole Belle doll in the center of the cake (press wrap around the legs). I kept the top part of the original dress on the doll by detaching it from the skirt with a seam-ripper. I had to put extra frosting around her waist to cover the insertion point.

The detailing on the skirt was made with a rose tip and dots were placed at every upsweep of the “ruffles”. The detailing on top and bottom of the 10 inch round was done with a star tip.
