I made this Blues Clues Birthday Cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday. I was a little stressed out leading up to the day as she is not allowed to have any egg or dairy so was really worrying about what I could do.
She loved Blues Clues and I finally found a really great recipe that I could use that had no egg or dairy and it actually rises really well.
I prepared the cake the night before and then popped it in the freezer to make it much easier to ice – again the icing contains no dairy and is really yummy!
I did the outlines of the lines then filled it in using a piping bag. All the kids on the day loved it and most of all my daughter was really happy to see her favourite character on her special day.
