I made this Dalmation Monster Truck Cake for a friends son’s 3rd Birthday. This is the first Monster Truck cake that I’ve ever made. I really like to make challenging cakes and believe me this was a challenge to make.
The ramp is made out of a chocolate cake mix and the truck is a white cake mix. I made home made butter cream icing to ice the cake, that way I could make all the colors that I needed. The wheels are cupcakes. I used 2 9×13 cake pans, one for the truck and one for the ramp. I also made a few extra cupcakes for the kids to have.
The little boy that I made the cake for loved this cake and so did everyone else that was there at his party. He’s mom loved it so much that she’s having me make another one for a another birthday party.
