For my step son’s 5th birthday he decided on a dinosaur theme and since his room was full of dinosaurs I figured he could help set them up. For this Dinosaur Scene Birthday Cake I used 3 9X13 sheet cakes then a full pan of cupcakes to build the volcano. We dug out a small hole for the “watering hole” and got to work icing, which took a good part of the evening to get all the colors.
We had some dinosaur sprinkles that included foot prints which we used on the cake as well. Zach had wanted flowing lava but he was equally pleased with sparklers coming out the top of the volcano. Zach chose the dinosaurs positions on the cake and was very happy with another successful cake.
