Cool Homemade 3D Dorothy the Dinosaur Cake

I made this Dorothy The Dinosaur Cake for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. I didn’t like the standard ‘head’ Dorothy cakes so I created my own!

I used one of those dolly tins (not sure of their actual name) for the body and carved up a bar cake to create the head, arms and tail. I secured the head in position using skewers and used toothpicks to secure the arms (don’t forget to remove before serving). Dorothy’s hat was a large marshmallow and the teeth were Tic Tacs.

I sprinkled cake glitter onto the tutu to add some sparkle.
