I am possibly THE worst cook, so if I can do this Dorothy the Dinosaur Cake anyone can! I traced the picture of Dorothy from my daughter’s colouring book to use as the template. I used 2 x packets of Betty Crocker cake mixes for the cake, made the night before and refrigerated before I cut Dorothy out. The shape cut out really easily.
The icing was just Betty Crocker Creamy Deluxe Vanilla x 2 and I used food colouring for the green and the yellow. I found using a piping bag very handy for getting the colours on neatly. I used one of those black gel tubes from Woollies to draw the black outline. Raspberry lollies and mint leaves for the hat and that was it! Easy!
