Coolest Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake Design

This Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake Design was the second decorated cake I had ever made. I made my son’s first birthday cake last year with some guidance from a friend. It turned out really good so I decided to give it another go this year.

I didn’t use a store bought pan, just free-handed it. I used a 5″ pans for his ears with chocolate cake mix and did the face with a 10″ pan and used white cake mix. I then positioned everything on the board evenly and started icing.

I drew a big picture of Mickey’s face on a piece of paper then just kinda copied it onto the cake. A friend of mine made the cupcakes simply because I didn’t have enough time. I was very pleased with the outcome, as was everyone at the party. I make cakes and cupcakes for friends and family in my spare time.
